My dog can't see well in the dark so I ordered a set and put them on the stairs and they worked great! Motion sensors picked up his tiny feet inside, maybe 4 feet? I ordered another set for the basement stairs. Out of 6 flashlights I only had to charge 2 in a month of use, but that's because I placed and activated more than I needed. I will probably order 1 or 2 more sets to place strategically around my house. They are really bright. Might be too bright for a bedroom night light but will definitely light the way to where you need to go. I use a night setting for them so they aren't on all the time, but you can set them to be on all the time I think. Highly recommended.
