This laser level is great for leveling pictures and mounts. It works best with a tripod or high stable surface as the laser line needs to be stationary to compare to my measurements. I found that my tripod wasn't high enough for some of the things I wanted to hang, so I had to use a bookshelf or other tall object to set the level. Minute to level itself and the laser beam to become stationary. Conveniently, it has both a horizontal and vertical line. You can also attach the line at an angle, which can be handy for hanging things along stairs or in a specific pattern. The power button can be pressed multiple times to switch between horizontal line, vertical line, or both, or to turn off the level completely. It comes with a tripod mount and a soft zippered storage bag.
