I use it to protect my Canon 55-255mm lens when traveling and it fits well, has nice padding, the eyelet for the lanyard is nice and easy to use, and there's a small outside pocket with Zipper for various items. I like the included D ring. The inside of this case is very soft and I placed a microfiber cloth cover over the lens before inserting it into the FlexARMOR case for added dust protection. The bag is designed to limit dust ingress, but I like the added protection. This lens leaves about 2 inches of free space, but I think my lens is packaged very well. So in this case you could use a slightly larger lens.
