Review on Renewed Samsung Galaxy S10 Fully Unlocked in Prism Blue, 128GB by Lang Lang Buana ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Didn't quite buy it well, had a little trouble using it.

Nothing, not even a stock calculator widget, surprised Samsung. You can turn the screen on by double tapping, but there is no method to turn it off besides pressing a button. Fonts are small, there are a lot of empty spaces, and the interface is otherwise unusable. There is no option to change the settings for the tiny pop-up notifications that appear when a bank sends an SMS code. You can't mute an incoming call just by turning the phone over on the table, and there isn't even a basic "in your pocket" setting that activates vibration. Whether your phone is face-up on a table or face-down in your pocket, Always on Display will remain on. The waterfall screen serves no useful purpose, and roundings are distracting when viewing videos or photos. Overall, the screen is the biggest letdown; whereas Samsung's middle-tier A71 and A51 smartphones have rather regular, easy-on-the-eye displays, the s10 and s20's pulsations go well beyond any norm; even Chinese smartphones' screens are safer. Using the same gadget for more than an hour a day, especially at medium brightness, is unpleasant.

Pros
  • It's one of the few former flagships that's small enough to fit in a pocket and has a 3.5mm port. Excellent photographic equipment. Solid cans for listening to audio on the go.
Cons
  • Even if Samsung supporters insist otherwise, a panel with a significant PWM effect, a ripple coefficient at medium brightness of more than 100%, causes noticeable eye fatigue. The location of the brake and fingerprint sensor's on/off switch is awkward.
