Okay, first let me make 2 things clear.1. It's expensive, but you pay for the brand and clean design.2. If you are using an iPhone 8/8+/X, you will not get 10W; You still get 7.5 watts. WHY GET THIS WHEN YOU HAVE ANOTHER? It depends on personal preference. I took it because of the cable that came with it. Compared to the old one, this one comes with Micro-USB (wish it was USB-C, but oh well). The 7.5W charger came with a proprietary cable that had to be plugged into the wall. Micro-USB allows you to connect this new device to a portable battery that supports 18W output power (for WIRELESS fast charging). Three other differences: 1. Instead of putting the logo in the middle of the charger, the company has chosen to put their company name in the middle (I prefer the logo, but it doesn't really bother me and I'm usually very picky about the "1. Types of problems things in the world 2. It's slightly larger than the other model, but it's not even worth mentioning. You wouldn't even know it unless you stack two models on top of each other. It's barely noticeable, but I wanted to mention it because that's the difference I've noticed 3. There's a white model if you want one, I have the black one just out of personal preference (although I'd take both if the price was more reasonable ).
