This thing rips. I'm not sure how I lived without it. I place it in a 5G bucket, and then vacuum from the tank to the bucket. The pump moves the water from the bucket to the sink via a very long 50ft hose. It will definitely stay ahead of the vacuum. I then place the bucket into the tub, run water to the correct temperature as verified with a thermometer, then pump back into the tank.I only use the 5G bucket for this purpose, and clean it after vacuuming, and after filling the tank. I also dry everything very well. I can do a 20G water change in 10 minutes easily now.

- The pump may not be compatible with certain types of power outlets
