BUYER WARNING New firmware significantly reduces image quality

TLDR: An excellent monitor with excellent graphics and consistent gaming performance. DO NOT UPDATE FIRMWARE on M3T102. This reduces graphic fidelity. Dell does not keep copies of previous firmware files for its monitors. I originally purchased this monitor direct from Dell. The monitor had excellent color accuracy with very good blacks and color depth. However, things have changed after updating to the latest recommended firmware from Dell. Those deep blacks and bright colors have been seriously downgraded. Everything looks grey/mixed. I have another monitor right next to this one that hasn't been updated and the images are day and night. HDR helps, but no longer gives the brightness it used to have. This in no way means that the monitor cannot deliver a great picture. They're just not the ones I encountered before the firmware update. I contacted Dell support regarding this and was told to just wait for the next update. Unfortunately, they don't keep copies of old firmware files for their monitors. There is no estimated release date for the next update. However, I do notice that this firmware update adds some new menu settings, including the ability to turn off the blue light on the back of the screen.
