We had no idea that a traditional license plate setup wouldn't work on our SL550 and Mercedes wanted to charge a ridiculous amount for the brace. It worked great! There are no instructions included, but everything is very clear. You want to mount it so it's raised above your car if that makes sense. We bought a regular frame which we mounted with a license plate in between. The kit included a set of screws and an installation tool. We used the shortest screws for both this bracket and the license plate itself. Very easy and saved us money!
