It was too small and only covered half of my car. Planned return next morning. But that evening a storm broke and he was lost forever. And yes it was safe. The cable that came with it broke. It or the ear pulled out. I'm not sure what exactly, but I know it was tied correctly. I ordered one size larger and it fits perfectly. I like the product. But in my case, according to the seller's size chart, it was too small for my car. When I ordered through Revain. I went up a size and it worked. Should have gone two sizes up, not one. Basically I bought a cover to keep pollen off my car. I don't drive regularly so it turns yellow in spring. This is a good case but be sure to order a size larger than stated or you will be very disappointed. The price is right and depending on how well it holds up I may or may not reorder at the right time. The car is in the garage so time will tell how well it will hold up. When you buy, I will come to you and immediately check the size. Otherwise you're wasting your money.
