None. They're not just bright. They're looking at the bright sun. It's like looking into the headlights of a Mack truck before it carries you through a bright light. Like the doorway of an alien spaceship, so bright. They're easy to install and, as others have said, aren't as tight to the ceiling as I was hoping. But they're no worse than the ugly yellowed trim rings that were there. I just installed them tonight so let's see how long they last. I'm about to order a dimmer.
