Review on JBL GX642 2 Way Coaxial Loudspeakers by William Rothstein

Installation was a bit difficult on my application (2002 Chevy Tracker), but the improvement over the original speakers is significant. I also installed a Noico muffler which helped these speakers deliver a fuller sound. They still struggle with anything below 60Hz, so I'll have to get a subwoofer at some point. Still, they can give me enough to feel the kick in rock music. Love how bright the tweeters sound, I run the crossovers at 0dB; +3dB is too bright for me. Crossovers on the door did not have time to install while they are in the door pocket with bare wiring. I'll get to it eventually.
