My kids went to school and how so many others not great with shorts with drawstrings so I had to use shorts with hook and adjustable elastic which were either still too tight when left on my skinny little ones or got lost so they kept pulling on them. This belt is adjustable so the waist is also 20/22 inches. could use it and it even fits a slim adult. I gave it to my 6 year old nephew and 10 year old niece and it's easy for everyone to take it off and put it back on. Can be used by children on pants with loops, dresses or long shirts. I plan to hand wash or gently sanitize it due to Covid and think it will last.
