These are my partner's favorite steel toe boots. He wears a size 13 which is hard to find so it was great to find her here as he doesn't like shopping for shoes. This is his third pair in 10 years so we knew it would fit. Unlike most new boots, they didn't require a break-in period. On day one, he wore them the entire shift and said his feet actually felt better than after wearing the old ones. The previous pair had a crater in the insole that the new insoles and cushioning couldn't fix. These boots have endured with grace rain, snow, ice, oil, solvents, punctures while jacking up and various other incidents that could potentially result in pinched toes. He's constantly noting how light they are and has even been known to spend a good three or four hours in them, dancing in them on Saturday nights in pre-COVID times. Something I found he didn't notice is that most 13s seem to have a lot of width that he doesn't need. This helped him understand why some of his 13 and other boots fit but are uncomfortable for long periods of time. Too much width will also cause the upper to wear badly, giving it a hunched look. Luckily Sketcher comes in standard and wide widths.
