It's a bit more plastic than I'd like but I can't fault it as it's accurate in photos. It works well, it's as easy to install as any of the front panel connectors, and it's better than jumping on pins to power my outdoor rig. Works exactly as you would expect from a power button, nothing more to say. The cable is a good length, just long enough to go from the floor to the opposite side of the desk, and it also comes with a PCIE slot adapter so you can run the cable through the back slot (like the back cutout where the video card inputs are) and use the supplied metal insert to seal it around the cable. As I said, I use it with an outdoor mount, but with the included metal bezel for the rear slot that would be very easy. to plug it into any standard desktop that's out of reach and move the power button somewhere closer without having to have an open hole somewhere to feed the cable through. It also has LEDs that blink during boot, just like a standard button.
