The pump was damaged in transit. The fan cover was ripped off and the plastic fan blades were bent, but I managed to straighten the fan blades and reattach the cover. The pump was advertised as 6.5 amps but the label on the pump said 10 amps. I called tech support and they said the pump was mislabeled. I installed the pump and the current in my situation was actually 5 amps so I was happy with that. What annoyed me was that the pump was advertised as 20 psi and 9.6 gpm with a 15 foot suction lift. It doesn't come close to that specification. At 15 feet of suction lift, the pressure is 15 psi or less. At 8ft suction lift I only get 21psi and 8.3gpm. I called tech support and the person I spoke to seemed to have no idea how suction lift and head pressure work. He suggested that I file an online complaint. I did this a few weeks ago but got no response.
