Review on πŸ”Œ L.H. Dottie WPI25 Insulation Gasket for Wall Plates - Pack of 25 by Paul Martindale

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Simple and effective for GFI switch ornament covers

Compared to other products that were irregularly shaped and/or non-flame retardant, this brand was a better choice. All sockets in my new apartment have decorative rectangular covers from GFI. This is the simplest shape that can be stamped out of these sleeve gaskets; In fact, you can stack 5 or more and punch a rectangle out of them with a single click. The first photo clearly shows that the sealer fits well, but I didn't apply it that way. After the bolts kept falling to the ground when I missed a tiny hole in the bushing, I stuck the bolts into the bushing cover, caulking the threads to hold the bolts in place (punching tiny washers in the process) . ), then attached the whole thing to the socket and tightened the screws. These even worked in sockets in the bases of 2 rooms. They are easy to cut for double and triple outlets; For a trio, place an undamaged gasket in the center and cut the right and left columns of the two additional pieces of gasket on the sides for a snug fit without excess bulk. The childproof socket covers in the second photo are NOT included; I use them to seal outlets that I'm not using. I used all 25 sealants in a 750 square foot apartment and ordered a second pack for the 4 remaining outlets.
