Absolute silence for Ham Radio / CB / Audio equipment.

Grear for HiFi audio and ham radio/CB equipment. I installed one in each of my two 13.8V DC power supplies, super velcro attached the fan to the case, and installed an LM7810 voltage regulator. The fan in each of my power supplies runs on 10 volts from the auxiliary regulator and is quiet while moving plenty of air. The cover (not shown) has been modified to allow air intake from the side.

Pros

Super quiet fan with powerful airflow. Ideal for cooling equipment or cabinets that require minimal noise. In addition, the fan speed can be adjusted with a different voltage (5-12V), which means it can be operated at a lower voltage to achieve a silent effect.
