Nothing special here but ripstop nylon. Light, thin and water-repellent. The mesh on the back is a nice touch to keep sweat out when the wallet is in the shirt. There seems to be enough space. During use I found that it stayed either in my suitcase or in my hotel room as it's uncomfortable to wear under a shirt and looks a little provocative hanging around my neck. I mostly used this at security checks when it was just hanging around my neck and everything was easily accessible. I'm sure everyone appreciates going through security/customs when you have to show your boarding pass or passport many times and it becomes a headache when you have to dig it out of your pocket or remember it , where you put things. I like the fact that everything is in one central place as it's pretty stressful to travel to airports these days. RFID blocking is an added layer of security and peace of mind. Although it looks gray it's actually a bit closer to a green/grey if that matters. Overall I will use this again. If I had to do it again I would probably find something that would fold my currency in half and have credit card room inside. It's really too big to carry around and when I left the house I gave it to my girlfriend to put in her purse.
