I didn't expect the quality to be so high.
Before I purchased these tires, I was driving on Japanese yokohama winter drive 902 tires. The snow makes Goodyear seem like a little more appealing place to be. On the other hand, control is not as good when the surface is dry, and I find this to be significant since. I'm the first one to switch over my footwear. In overall, these tires are not terrible; nonetheless, you should not expect revelations from them as some reviewers have suggested.
