Review on Purple Philips SHE3590PP/28 In-Ear Headphones - Superior SEO by Agata Wydra ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied with the product, I recommend it to everyone.

I have a long experience of using these headphones: I have already changed 4 or 5 pairs. Were black, purple, blue and black again. I really like the sound in them: deep, but not intrusive and not booming basses and at the same time clear, distinct sounding of mids and highs. Since I first bought this model, I have not bought more expensive headphones: I see no reason to overpay if the sound quality in these headphones is completely satisfied. Again and again I purchased this model also because of the sound: I really like it. But, unfortunately, not a single headphone of this model has lived with me for more than 5, maximum 6 months. For the last two pairs, I tried to extend the service life, since the headphone plug is straight and because of this, the contacts easily break at the junction of the plug and wire. The method is this: I put a metal spiral from a conventional automatic pen on the wire and fix it on the plug so that it covers the junction of the plug and the wire. The spiral keeps very well on the plug and prevents the wire from bending at the junction, thus extending the life of the headphones (for this model, in my experience) from 2-3 to 5-6 months However, the connection with the plug still breaks sooner or later, and one or both headphones stop sounding. If these headphones cost 200 cheaper, this would be a real must have. But now I'm just tired of changing them for that kind of money and I switched to models with a slightly worse sound, but more reliable, with an L-shaped plug and cheaper. However, if you do not use the headphones every day and you are ready to change them every six months or a little less, this, in my opinion, is the best choice.

Pros
  • + The sound is one of the best in this price range. In my opinion, they are not inferior in sound quality to headphones costing 1000-1500; + The classic shape of the earpiece and the associated wearing comfort; + Variety of colors; + Popularity - can be found in many stores, a very common model.
Cons
  • - Unreliable and regularly break after a few months of use; - Straight (not L-shaped) plug, which forces you to handle the headphones very carefully, which does not really help.
