Okay, seriously, who cares about salt and pepper shakers? I may not be thrilled, but I love everything about these shakers, from the way they fit my decor to the quality and size. Many of those I looked at seemed very small, which I didn't want. I wasn't looking for fine shakers. They're perfect (as someone said, about the size of a soda can), durable, and easy to use. And I had no problem with big holes. Just watch out for the salt when pouring. In any case, I really like them and I recommend them.
