Waffles are generally poorly absorbent
These Sinland waffles don't absorb as well as my cheap cotton towels. I believe this is because the raised "waffles" prevent more surface area of the towel from contacting the dishes. On the other hand, Sinland's "Multi-Purpose Microfiber Cleaning Towels, Absorbent and Quick-Drying" are excellent and absorb much better than cotton towels.
