This wasn't much fun to put together but once assembled it's a functional office chair that can accommodate a tall adult. I chose this for my son who is not THAT tall at 6ft but tall enough and like many people still works from home and sits in his chair all day everyday. The adjustable back is a nice feature. The armrests aren't incredibly comfortable that they are. You can tell from the picture but we didn't expect it to be as uncomfortable as it is - I think the flat design could have been more of an aesthetic choice than the twisted one which could have been easier on the hands. We've fitted ours with office chair armrests, which makes it much easier to use for a few hours, but at an additional cost of about $30.
