Review on Lasko Twin Electric Window Fan with Reverse Functionality, EA by Beth Westra

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Good fans, poor case.

Nice little fan, not overpowered. It's kind of a pain to get it and take it out the window. WAY too big a problem for my mom I bought it for. So it's a failure. Expansion panels don't like to stay. It's just annoying. If you plan on leaving it on the window all the time, that would be fine. It doesn't have a privacy screen, it would be nice if the grille were sloped so you have airflow with no line of sight. It could also be done so that no water gets into the engine. I wouldn't run this if it was raining. Also, the small latch at the top should be on the back of the case, not the front. This would make it much easier to attach it to the window without breaking your fingers. You can use it as a floor unit, but the legs are more likely to break trying to get it out the window, and that's good. It's just a pain I'd say avoid.

Pros
  • EZ-Click Expansion Panels; adjustable thermostat; cut feet included
Cons
  • I have no real complaints about it, everything is fine
