We have a Chihuahua Dachshund mix and want to protect her back when she tries to jump on our bed. A couple of times I tapped the steps instead of picking them up and although at first she ran up the steps as if they were an obstacle, now she jumps up the steps without hesitation. I like that the steps are light and soft. I have a place in the bedroom, they are a danger to me, I will not hurt my toes. When I measure the steps a little shorter than my bed, it turns out that this is about a step further, all right. :-)
