Review on Digital multimeter UNI-T UT89XD by Mateusz Rybarczyk ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, I recommend.

In general, it’s normal, I can’t compare it yet, except that I’ll have to get an EKF pm18C soon one of these days. Against its background, pluses or new minuses may be more noticeable. Also, for some reason, I took it with a test of the LEDs. Although part of them can be checked with a regular call. In general, it's probably better to take the UNI-T UT89X model with a temperature sensor.

Pros
  • As such, there is not much. Unless, stylish fashionable youth. Seriously, there are no particular complaints about the build quality, solid, pleasant to the touch. Good readable display. Auto-shutdown (although its preliminary squeak and squeak during shutdown are annoying, especially in silence). Stand, flashlight . although there are many places for such a price. I almost forgot, although in fact a gift from a Chinese store, apparently, but a CASE is included.
Cons
  • And here I can list: 1) Fuses. a) Size 5x20. The problem is mainly with the 20A fuse. It's hard to find, except that on alik and they are somehow dubious. (There are two of them, one for 630mA and the second for 20A) b) It is difficult to extract, I had to disassemble it completely and then I could hardly do it. (In the first photo, they seem to be visible, but it’s impossible to pull it out, and it’s scary to bend) 2) At the expense of the second I will attach a photo (3). It is not entirely clear what is wrong with the capacitor, the Chinese seller did not explain to me whether this is normal or not. I don't know why it happened. 3) NCV. He doesn’t see the wire in the wall, BUT he sees the armature . It’s likely that someone let the current flow through it :) After all, it shouldn’t be radiant, right? (I do not know)
