Solid Hub for M1 Macbook

This is a solid hub with the rare ability to integrate an M.2 SSD slot. I've tried two SSDs with no problems, but it tends to get very hot when M.2 writes and reads large files. It runs at 5 Gbps, so you don't get full drive speed. The drive I used was a WD 2TB M.2 Sata which normally has 500s read/write speeds but with a hub I get about 320s read/write speeds. The USB ports are also 5Gb/s and if all ports are full and M.2 is running make sure it's on the side as it gets quite hot. I mean it's a size and bandwidth limitation, but I wish there was a Thunderbolt compatible version for M.2 with NVME speeds and an optimized heatsink for good heat dissipation. Also, it would be great if they could include an SD card slot. Ethernet works fine, HDMI too. There were no problems with these ports. Overall a solid hub that if it can improve the heat for M.2 and add an SD card reader as well as full Thunderbolt support for faster drives would be 5 stars.
