The card worked fine, bought 9th October 2020. Now all the devices I connect to it seem to be connected via USB 2.0 ONLY. Used to connect @ USB 3.0. I originally wrote to you on 1/23/2021 ============ I bought this card from Revain: it worked WELL! connected a device USB 3.0 network adapter. No problem with that. Til today! I plugged it into one of the Western Digital USB 3.0 ports on a MyBook I just bought. Now I have Windows 10 and a Dell XPS 8500 computer and as I have other similar drives I know I had to reformat the drive from exFAT to NTFS in order for Dell to boot. I did it on another computer. After loading, neither the hard disk nor the network adapter came? I unplugged the drive from the card, plugged it into a different USB port, and rebooted. Everything works again, NIC in PCI card and WD drive in another USB 3.0 port? Any ideas what could be wrong here? I even moved the NIC to a different port on the PCI card. Regardless of where it is plugged in, the network adapter will not work with a drive attached to the card. Can the card be defective? ------------------ NOW I'm sure it's a bad card and the NIC is only plugged into USB 2.0 and it's a USB 3.0 device acts. Tried other USB 3.0 devices, same result, not connecting at USB 3.0 speeds. EDIT: No response from seller! No support! Used both the Revain contact method and the email address provided in the package (support@linkstek.com) to contact them.
