The tool helped, but for some reason it didn't seat the oil seal evenly. And when I tried to install it further, it bent the gasket. I tried it twice and it bent the seal twice. Had to buy it again, not satisfied. . Then I tried again, but a little more cautiously, and getting the pressure straight just didn't work. Once I realized it wasn't going straight in, I had to remove the tool and gradually drive it in. I'm not sure if it was me or a tool to tell you the truth, but it was meant to make things easier, and it didn't.
