Freezer paper aka quilt paper works well

My wife tells me this quilt paper works well. First she runs the paper through the printer so that the design is printed on the paper side. Then she smooths the pieces of fabric with the wax side. The wax will make the fabric temporarily stick. The seams of adjacent pieces of fabric are torn away from the wax paper so they can be sewn together. I understand that this freezer (quilt) paper is a common item used by quilters (who can actually sew anything but a quilt). This paper did her good.
