Sharp and they have interchangeable blades on Ali Express. They're as sharp as my Andis T outliner, but they're wireless. I bleached and styled my son's hair. I used traditional trimmers to trim and fade it. This ended his baldness. They don't get hot like other clippers, after 40 minutes of padding and draining the battery was still at 89%. For under $30 this is a great find. My son has coarse African American hair and clippers managed it. I'm not a professional hairdresser, but I can cut and color hair and have been doing it for over 20 years. I've had my fair share of professional hair clippers. Get them and you won't be dissatisfied. Zero releases are coming too, but they can be made closer. There is a video on YouTube on how to do this.
