Review on πŸ”Š KnuKonceptz Kolossus 8 Gauge OFC Amplifier Installation Kit: Unleashing High-Performance Sound by Peter Sullivan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Do not use the original fuse

The standard fuse is rated at 60A. The maximum capacity of 8 gauge copper wire (not copper plated) is 55 amps. Period. Do not use a 120A fuse. Do not use an 80A fuse. You should not use anything other than a 55A fuse. Unless, of course, you want to increase the chances of your car catching fire. I have no issues with this kit other than fuse performance. Copper Wire >>>>>>> Copper Wire. Never buy copper plates and write negative reviews about the people who sell them. Aluminum wire is not suitable for a home, let alone a car that is constantly on the move. Use it and be prepared for a fire. The amperage of the copper-plated wire is 45 amperes. That's 10 less than copper, and eventually the copper plating comes off. Between breaks, each strand you cut reduces your power. You can even get 14 gauge copper wire before it breaks. amplitude of it? 25 amps! - I have a bachelor's degree in three engineering disciplines and a master's degree in electrical engineering. For God's sake, listen to me.
