Review on 💧 Aquasana AQ-4100NSH Deluxe Shower Water Filter System compatible with Current Shower Head, White by Deon Sweeney

Six months ago we moved to an area with very hard water. (The USGS defines "very hard" as water containing greater than 180 mg/L calcium carbonate.) Shortly thereafter, my partner and I began to notice our skin becoming increasingly dry and itchy. We are looking for air conditioning for the whole house for other reasons, but wanted something on short notice. Within two or three days the itching subsided. After about a week, our skin was visibly less dry. We've been using it for a little over two weeks now with no problems. Installation is as easy as replacing a shower head, except it took 2 or 3 adjustments to fix a small leak. From packaging to complete installation: 10 minutes max. The only downside is the "form factor". The addition of this conditioner pushes the "rest" position of the showerhead out and down - less than an inch in either direction. More of an annoyance than anything. Oh, and I'm not looking forward to buying replacement filters (currently $50). Overall, this is a win-win solution in the short to medium term.
