Yes, all that and more. Let me start by saying I'm a terrible procrastinator. I've wanted to make headlights and turn everything off for a long time. When I finally did, they were in a terrible mess. I would like to take before and after photos. The haze, oxidation, and abrasions from the sun, dirt, and debris were so bad I could only drive at night with bright headlights, and they weren't even as bright as they should be dimmed. So I finally got what I thought would be the perfect day to work on this project. According to the instructions, you should not soak for 24 hours. This day was perfect. Mid 70's and some clouds so would be nice to get some work done but no rain in sight. I've been working and working on my headlights, especially the driver's side, it was a lot more worn than the others. When they were finished and the clear coats were applied they looked incredibly good, like new. I continued talking about my day and about 6 hours later the worst storm clouds imaginable came out of nowhere and I struggled to find a way to keep those headlights dry. I ended up using a windshield pad that was attached to the car and placed on the front of the car and everything seemed fine. BEFORE the tornado starts forming almost directly over the house and takes us all down to the basement as the rain and all the 'hail' erupts. 3 inches actually. It did not last long. After about 15 minutes we crawled out of the basement again and the first thing I did was see what had happened to the car. My cover was intact everywhere except the front where it naturally fell off the headlights. To put it mildly, they got wet. The tree I parked under saved the car from the hail, but that didn't stop all the rain. I went outside to check and then it was impossible to tell exactly what the rain had done but the next day I saw some stains on the passenger side as well as water stains on the glass that don't rub off. The driver's side also failed, it must have taken the brunt. I have a small amount of haze along the bottom and a few water spots. But I don't blame the product. It says not too wet, which means DO NOT get wet. Actually for something that takes 24 hours to survive rain, hail and tornadoes in six hours. It's damn good in my book. And I have to say, despite a little wet damage, my headlights are like new now. I even have to remember to dim the lights when oncoming traffic comes again. Honestly, when your headlights are fogged up, a little freedom of movement, a little time and space to dry them for 24 hours and they're like new again. You will not regret it.
