Rope loose and sloppy
Rope not wound evenly. Where it is tied there are large knots which the cat likes to play with. It will not take long. Also, we thought they could be mounted left or right. You can not. They come pre-assembled, one left and one right. It didn't work for us because we wanted to combine/stack them into one long ladder for her. The only plus is that the wood is hard and heavy.
