A little bit of manipulation is needed to make this skin fit completely over the original dash, but with some effort it can be done. It will never fit exactly as nicely as the original because it has to be larger to be able to fit after all. But for an old truck that had a badly cracked dash and needed freshening up, it is just perfect. I drilled out some access holes where the original dash is fastened at the windshield, just in case I need to remove it later on. Wish it came with a little more silicone adhesive, but you can get another tube to complete the install.
