Review on Blue Steel Sports Anti-Chafe Cream : Enhanced with Natural πŸ”΅ Tea Tree Oil, Water and Sweat Resistant Formula, Non-Sticky and Non-Greasy by Steve Guillen

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Ideal for less than 4 miles

If you're a sweaty runner like me who bounces in the chest, at the 4 mile mark (slightly earlier in hot weather) the Blue Steel starts to break down. Blue Steel at about the 4 mile mark. At the 4.5 mile mark you become very aware of your chafing. At 6 miles and over you'll feel a complete burn. As a result, I use the joystick for anything over 5k, but I use Blue Steel for 5k. The Body Glide Stick works for any half-marathon distance, but offers far fewer uses in a backpack than Blue Steel. Blue steel endures 5 km well. The tube lasts for months with daily use when used on the 3 spots I do (sensitive chest and between the legs). So while I recommend this for 5K, I wouldn't recommend it for longer runs. It offers several kilometers of abrasion protection. If your daily mileage consists of several kilometers at a time, the Blue Steel works perfectly.
