Not 2.5 " fits Spring Clasps
Carabiners were less than 2" on their longest axis, so unacceptable for my purposes. As this is my first experience with steel carabiners, I cannot compare it to others. The hinge pin seemed pretty sharp to me. When the latch is closed, the hook side and cutout side do not align as smoothly as desired.
