I installed it on my 2002 Ford Ranger XLT. It's a very small pickup, but if the cable on the display was even an inch shorter I wouldn't be able to put the display where I need it. everything worked out. I glued the display diagonally to me on top of the dashboard on the passenger side. The cable runs along the side panel, under the panel, under the carpet, and through an unused tool grommet. The control unit is mounted on sheet metal behind the tail light on the passenger side, complete with additional wiring from the sensors. This sensor set works! If you turn around, it makes no sound at all until you get very close to the object (too close if you ask me). The beeps get faster and faster as you get closer, until they fade to a solid tone when you're maybe a foot away. I just want the sensors to pick up objects a little further. Sometimes I'll approach a bit backwards and feel like I'll hit it before the sensors even make a sound. "They're not working? Should I just trust them?" Those sensors bother me all the time. I need a little more buffer memory to get things done comfortably. Haven't found anything yet.
