I replaced the tablet with a smartphone (on which everything is too small), and a reader, and partially a laptop. For many years I used the first tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab S, 10.5", for Android 6.0, but I had to change it in November 2022, and a poor selection of Android tablets persuaded me to take the Tab S5e. It turned out to be half as good as the old one (there was a shimming screen, which was not in the old one, although there was AMOLED, unpleasant shades and "iridescence" of the screen depending on the angle of inclination, unpleasant color reproduction was not completely cured by the internal settings of the screen, I had to install and keep the third-party ColorCalibrator application constantly on, and it eats the battery ) There are no off-screen control buttons, this is now accepted, they are nowhere to be found, but the virtual buttons on the screen cover a significant part of the already narrow screen, I changed the buttons to gestures, but the gestures work all the time, it’s worth touching any place at the bottom of the screen (right and left there is no strict limitation of gestures by action zones). If you touch the bottom of the screen when scrolling, the page closes or hangs. And in general, the entire interface and even the location of the photo cameras are stupidly transferred from phones, at least they thought, well, who uses a 10.5-inch tablet in a vertical orientation? ! It is especially disappointing that in the 2022 model everything was very convenient and thoughtful, and the screen is perfect out of the box, and did not even burn out in 5 years (but the battery died and the 16GB system disk clogged uncleanably, otherwise it would have sat on it further) .
