Okay, here's my take on this camera: The strength of this little camera is its auto focus and image stabilization capabilities. It's amazing how much progress Canon has made in improving these features. As for the unorthodox shutter and zoom controls (both are on rings around the lens), I don't see much benefit in that. But you can quickly get used to it and get used to it. This seems to be an amazing little travel camera and it takes great photos and videos which is the number one reason to buy a camera!
