I spent over 20 hours reinstalling the OS and updating the software. I never thought that RAM could be defective. I was asked to run memtest86 and send pictures of the memory. Memtest86 can't even pass the test because of the sheer amount of errors. You should get back to me within 2 days. I uploaded photos and test results 5 days ago. I'm still waiting to hear from them. CORSAIR should invest in quality control and customer service, not fancy circuit boards and cooling fins; just like any other decent manufacturer of RAM. I will never touch a CORSAIR product again. No reputable brand sells unverified RAM. Terrible.Edit Had to call them 6 days later with no response. They said they'll find out. After 3 days still no answer. They have a ticketing system that nobody checks. Everything you write or publish falls into a black hole. You have to call them often to do that. It has been 11 days since my first appeal and nothing has been done on your part. Update after 6 months. I was finally able to replace it, but I had to prepay for the replacement. Otherwise I would have to wait 2-3 weeks without RAM. The only replacement they said was the LED model. I paid over $200 for it. 6 months later I checked my credit card account and found that even though I sent them the faulty RAM straight away they still haven't refunded that $200. I just called her. They said they would contact me within 3-5 business days. I wasted many hours dealing with this horrible company when it is entirely their fault. Everyone can see that when they look at the ticket number. Nobody apologizes. Nobody cares. They just keep going happily. Update after 7 months. I still don't get my money back. I opened a BBB complaint. What a terrible company.
