I recently bought a Nagoya na-701 antenna, it works perfectly. I bought them simply because I was curious how they would compare to the Nagoya. I have checked the SWR of these two antennas (2 sets) and the Nagoya and found that the readings are consistently lower than the Nagoya, with 2m readings around 1.0-1.8 across the band and 70cm -Readings around 1.8-2.0 across the full band range and even up to GMRS frequencies. These numbers are quite acceptable for a cellular antenna. Then I did a signal strength test comparing a standard Baofeng, Nagoya antenna and this antenna. I found this antenna to be much better than the standard Baofeng antenna and as good as, if not slightly better than, the Nagoya. These antennas are amazing for the price and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an upgrade over the standard Baofeng antenna.
