These fit perfectly over an aluminum 2.5" dia pipe which is 2.88" OD. They have tiny gripping teeth on the inside of the ubolt which grabs the pipe material an holds firmly.

- Difficulty in installation: The saddle style of these clamps may require precision and careful positioning during installation, which can be time-consuming and frustrating for those unfamiliar with the process
