I love OXO products and choose them whenever possible. OXO always pays great attention to the small details that matter and they do so while maintaining the elegance of their products. When I moved to a new house, I really didn't want to take my old plunger (which was actively used) and toilet brush with me. When I found this combo set, I didn't even think of anything. A pleasant, understated design that hides and draws attention, but at the same time fits well in a modern home. The product is functionally great. The piston moves well. The brush brushes well. When they stop working, the heads unscrew for easy replacement. I only have one complaint about this product - and it looks like a serious oversight for OXO. When lifting the brush or especially the plunger, the folding doors often don't open as well as they should and the entire base comes off the floor along with the plunger or brush. The only way to prevent this is to keep my feet on the base while I pull the plunger/brush out with my hand. The problem is that the base has no weight at all, so if it pulls out one of its passengers, it keeps moving. OXO really can make a product better - and they usually do. Somehow they missed a big mistake with this one. It's still a good product that works well and looks good in my bathroom, but I'm disappointed that it's not as perfect as most OXO products.
