I installed these speakers on my Shallow Sport Boat and they sound great. Love the sound and the price. A good bass and high frequencies are not tinny at all. I know that some people love the peace and quiet of nature. Not me. I like to listen to classic rock while fishing. Let's see how long they hold up in the sun and salt water and resist corrosion. Update: These speakers stopped working during a heavy rainstorm and caused a short circuit. So much for waterproofing. Buy cheap, get cheap. I'll check again when it's dry. If they work again I might have to buy some protective covers to keep out the rain. I will update.
