When I opened the box, I found black spots inside the box and on one of the brushes. They don't look like mold, more like dried mascara residue or gel eyeliner residue. There are scratches on some brushes and the paint has worn off in words. There is a hard glue on a brush handle. I suspect someone used them and returned them. I didn't want to go to the store to send them back. So I just washed the brushes and tried them out. They are not as good as the RT face brushes. I have 5 RT facial brushes and they are all good. But these eyeshadow brushes are very harsh on my eyelids. And I don't see them catching more product or blending better than my cheaper eyeshadow brushes like eleven or unknown brand. Although I like the medium eyeshadow brush and the crease brush. For the price I paid I think they are a failure for me. You can get much better eyeshadow brushes at much lower prices.
