The best demolition tool I've ever used! I almost didn't buy it because of the negative reviews so I decided to set a record. It heats up well, has a good stroke and excellent suction power. He cleaned every hole/pin and you could hear the air through the PCB hole as it was and with one hand. Works well with 0.1 intervals like standard 40 pin connectors. From the negative reviews I can tell they used it incorrectly. It is not suitable as a pencil as it is not heated. The button is on the back! While holding it (explain it in words here), open your (right) hand and place it in your palm so that the plunger is pressed to the same side of the palm as the thumb. Grab it with your hands. Now your thumb is right on the trigger! Hold it like you're piercing a circuit board. Place perpendicular to the board, wait about 3 seconds, then press the button with your thumb. No shifting, jerking, swing issues etc. Just lightly tin the holes/pads after you're done. As for the cleaning, the seller is wrong. Very washable. The instructions are in the package, but there is an even better way. Look closely at the body/base where the plunger rod enters the black end of the yellow tube. You can see that the larger outer case you are holding has a small baffle at the top of the intake manifold. The yellow tube is fixed in the outer tube. Use a small flat head screwdriver and give it a little nudge and it pops out - the whole tube. Can be dismantled for cleaning. An old toothbrush will clean the plunger well. Everything seems to be going to the limit. It has a thin layer of lube, probably silicone paste. So if you wash it off, you may need to reapply it. The instructions on the card say to pull the end of the plunger out of the body. I didn't like what I was feeling. The screwdriver method above is an easier non-violent way.
