Although this product worked very well for a few days, it caught fire in my microwave after a week of daily use. The cover reads: "Most microwave ovens take 4 to 5 minutes. If they still aren't soft and mushy, use the 1 minute increments until you find the perfect time." I found 5 minutes 15-20 seconds in my microwave was the right time, but the printed one 1st side of the neoprene sleeve began to burn and peel during this time.If I hadn't been close enough to smell the burning, turn off the stove and douse the flames there could have been disaster!Another problem was that it not kept warm for more than 2 hours This is sufficient for transporting puppies in a makeshift crate/basket but not sufficient for overnight use.
