I opened the package and immediately smelled mold. No big deal, I expect that when working with stuff coming from a humid environment. About a third of this bag was mixed with Exo Terra rainforest soil and soaked in water according to the package directions, but after about a week this product seems to have moldy half of my snakewood skin and isn't retaining moisture either. somehow in a tank? I think our humidity sensor might be broken, but even though mold is growing on the log right now, which is obviously not good or ideal, smelled like mold right away. She's also in the middle of a barn that takes forever to separate and it's coming off in tiny pieces so I know it's not wet enough for her. She even has something about her eyes that can't be undone. I'll swap and see what's better to use. Video from the day I put everything together, sorry for the glare on the glass.
